The one in Herkingen is a historic building that originally served as a weighbridge. This bridge was used to weigh agricultural products that were transported across the port facilities of Herkingen. The bridge was based on the principle of the bascule and was developed by the American company Fairbanks. In 2017, some volunteers decided to rebuild the Weeghuisje and it was incorporated into the foundation "Stichting Erfgoed Herkingen". The building now serves as a cultural monument.

This small marina is located in the middle of the historical centre and is connected to a yacht canal of several kilometres. A beautiful place for a break.
