The Zandvoort promenade is more than 5 kilometers long and one of the few boulevards in the Netherlands with an unobstructed view of the sea. Ideal for a nice walk with sea views and to breathe in the fresh salty air. From Zandvoort you can walk to Bloemendaal aan Zee in 45 minutes.

We were in Zandvoort again on July 1, 2025. We were shocked at how crowded and littered the beach was. People were packed together at the beach café areas. You had to reserve tables at the beach cafés, and you were only allowed to sit for a maximum of 1.5 hours. I'd rather never go to Zandvoort in the summer again and only go during the off-season.
