A venerable brick building stands at Alexandrinenplatz 1. Since the late 1990s, it has been home to the Center for Recreation, Education, and Leisure for Youth, or Zebef e.V. for short. Today, Zebef is a multi-generational center offering young and old alternatives for meaningful leisure activities. It was built in 1843 for the newly founded Rector's School and housed the Goethe-Gymnasium until the end of 1996/98. https://www.ludwigslust.de/PDF/Historischer_Stadtrundgang.PDF?ObjSvrID=3634&ObjID=1237&ObjLa=1&Ext=PDF&WTR=1&_ts=1678354855

With such a literary highlight, I absolutely have to quote the humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909–1979), whom I highly respect and who was widely known for his wordplay and "Another Poem": "I once found a finch's nest, and in it lay the remains of a crime novel. Now look: The finch could read! No wonder, it was a chaffinch." (H. Erhardt)

This public green space, which apparently has no name, is located in Ludwigslust between the streets Charistian-Ludwig-Straße, Am Marstall and Helene-von-Bülow-Straße. It is a beautifully landscaped and well-kept area with seating to linger.
