The lake circuit is a nature circuit. So lots of forest floor, which is occasionally repaired. Whoever wants to ride on asphalt on the north-south route, I recommend Neubrandenburg-Penzlin-Neustrelitz.

Now in spring, wood anemones are blooming everywhere. The water in the lake is clear and there are some swimming spots.

The memorial stone below the observation tower commemorates the first men's choir of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, "Arion" (Arion = mythical singer of antiquity), founded in 1829. The choir often met on the small platform at the edge of Behmshöhe for singing events and folk festivals. On the occasion of the choir's 100th anniversary, this boulder from the Fünfeichen field was ceremoniously erected here. The inscription reads: Arion 1829 - 1929 Free in song, always German and faithful. November 29, 1929

My first glimpse of Lake Fleesensee—impressed by its beauty and size. Right next to this spot on the beach is the Seewirtschaft restaurant with a fantastic view of the lake. If you're nearby, just stop by and enjoy the moment.
