For all newbies (like me;)): Leave one boat on each bank, which means, if in doubt, pulling the other one behind you while rowing and bringing it back to the original bank if you are alone. A bit tricky, but it works.

If you want to experience or discover something, you should definitely check it out! It's just incredibly interesting what old (beautiful) cars are standing around here. The "junkyard" was abandoned over 70 years ago and nature is reclaiming it! Sometimes you wonder how the cars ever got onto these rocks 😅

Easily accessible from Lake Foxen by canoe or by Suto. We passed by here on our canoe trip and there is a proper jetty for boats etc. with a nice picnic area. From the jetty it goes straight up into the forest and quite surprisingly you find yourself in the middle of it. At the Bästnas car park.

Too bad. By mid-October all the boats had been taken out of the water. Unfortunately, this information was not given at the parking lot but only a few meters before the passage. There are almost no alternatives and we had to break off the hike and turn back. Next time I'll ask explicitly in the info center.

At the camping shop you rent a canoe and go out onto the lake. Paddle to one of the many islands, moor and enjoy your lunch or snack.

From this campsite you can take a number of beautiful walks and finish with an ice cream or drink from the camping shop. We did the 12 KM walk and it was very nice, there are also 3 shorter walks of 2, 3 or 5 KM.
