The Walkmühle (fulling mill) in Limburg an der Lahn was originally a fulling mill, later converted into a dye mill. It is located in close proximity to the Obermühle (upper mill), a historic building now used as a restaurant. The waterwheel of the former fulling mill was restored in 2005 and now rotates on the Lahn River, next to the historic Obermühle (upper mill). The area around the Walkmühle and the Obermühle is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors. Especially in spring, you can enjoy the sunshine and experience the atmosphere of the historic mill landscape.

The Lahn cycle path runs a little away from the Lahn through meadows and fields. On this route from Aull to the underpass towards Staffel (or vice versa) you always have a clear view of Oranienstein Castle, which stands directly above the banks of the Lahn on a rocky hill.
