Better a small shelter than none at all, unfortunately nothing compared to the old Sodix Hut, for those who still knew it.

The Sodixhütte is not located on the Litermont, but on the Galgenberg in Schmelz-Hüttersdorf. One could say it is at the foot of the Litermont.

From here you can also start tours, enough parking spaces are available

The Sodixhütte, which has been used as a popular climbing point for several generations, was demolished in 2017 due to its disrepair and rebuilt with parking spaces. Unfortunately, the hut is repeatedly a victim of vandalism. In 2019 as well as in December 2020, the wooden benches were destroyed and, thankfully, repeatedly repaired by the volunteers from Hüttersdorf.

Sodix hut on the Litermont. Good for taking breaks.

The Sodix hut was newly built and invites you to take a break. You can sit there well protected. Behind the hut after about 70m there is an entrance to a very nice flat and flowing trail on the right. It's worth taking a detour there.
