On the valley side of the market square, on Strada Republicii, there is a row of houses that are a little more modest in design, but have the same aesthetic standards as the row of houses on the Upper Market. This was the home of the village's blacksmiths, among others. Many beautiful wrought iron decorations still bear witness to this.

The public fountain in the middle of the market square is used to water animals. Women also wash their carpets here. If a fire breaks out, the "Great Basin" also provides a reservoir for extinguishing water. There are many fountains - both public and private - throughout Rimetea. The village is crossed by a number of small streams that originate in the rugged karst mountains.

The Rimetea watermill was built in 1752 by Klara Toroczkai and is still in working order and is occasionally used by locals. It is the oldest of its kind in the Apuseni Mountains. In the small museum attached to it you can see milling tools and other equipment. The entrance fee is 10 lei.

Built between 1780 and 1804 on the foundations of a medieval church, the Unitarian Church in the middle of the village is well worth seeing. The oldest part is the church tower, which was rebuilt to its current size in 1670. Surrounded by high walls with loopholes (refortified in 1700), it is a small church fortress. If you visit on a Sunday, you have the chance to see the church garden with the wood-carved millennium stele.
