The Bredenbeker Teich is a piece of Hamburg or Stormarn history. People used to vacation in the Walddörfer, and the bathing establishment here was very popular. Until before Corona, there was a great natural outdoor pool at the campsite here. Now people just like to go into the water. The old bathing establishment can still be recognized by an information board and the manor house.

The trail and the Bredenbeker Teich are always worth a bike tour. They are on my favorite route anyway... Biene Maja (Maya the Bee) was invented here and there used to be a special bathing establishment here that people enjoyed.

It's interesting to imagine how people used to get here to bathe. It must have been really busy here back then. Besides, Maya the Bee was invented here. Unfortunately, the campsite had to close its natural swimming pool...

In Höltigbaum, you will not only find great running routes, but also 150 shaggy Galloway cattle and 40 sheep as animal residents. These robust four-legged friends are real landscape gardeners and ensure that the area's unique vegetation is preserved.
