The Wackerballig marina is a so-called “island harbor”: the berths can only be reached from the mainland via an access bridge about 200m long. Due to this special location, the harbor can be approached regardless of wind or weather.

Enjoy the view! Soil is quite firm sand/rocky soil. Even when wet still OK - not soggy

Official game trekking spot in the middle of a meadow. Grass was not mowed. It stood about waist high. But there were flat rolled areas from predecessors. With the large branches lying around you can also flatten yourself a bit. Good wind protection, of course the grass also keeps the morning moisture longer. You can even go swimming! In the morning and in the evening the marsh warbler sang in the tree. Really pretty. A bench in front of the path invites you to enjoy and linger. Anyone arriving by car must leave it at the beach car park in Ohrfeldhof and walk 15-20 minutes to the campsite. Parking is free. Theoretically there was also a toilet house. Since I haven't used it, I can't say anything more about it.

This is such a cool thing. If I were traveling for several days and with a tent, I would definitely want to do it! You can't go there by car.
