The Mainuferweg on the Heidingsfelder side is less frequented than on the opposite side. The first kilometer out of town is roughly paved and can not walk or cycle so well. But there is a well-trodden path on which it is more beautiful.
One can combine both sides wonderfully to a round course in which one uses the barrage Randersacker and the Kneipp footbridge to change the Mainseiten. I like being on the Heidingsfelder side, as there is always much less going on here.

Running
It is in the cobblestone path to the old post office to Würzburg. To run it is rather difficult, but you are on this main page in contrast to the opposite Kurt-Schuhmacher-Promenade more often alone on the road.
