The 150-meter-long, covered bridge was opened on May 6, 2010, and connects Tbilisi's Old Town with the newly designed Rike Park, not far from the Presidential Palace. It is located between the Barachvili and Metheki Bridges and was designed by the Italian architect Michele De Lucchi.
