The 1983 carillon at the Oldenburg court plays several times a day. Five historical figures of the Jever reign are shown:
- Edo Wiemken II, 1450-1511,
Chief of Jever and the district of Oestringen, Wangerland and Rüstringen.
- Miss Maria, 1500-1575,
born Heiress and Miss to Jever, Rüstingen, Oestringen and Wangerland.
- Anton Günther, 1583-1667,
Count of Oldenburg and Lord of Jever and Knyphausen.
- Johann August, 1671-1742,
Prince of Anhalt-Zerbst and Lord of Jever.
- Catherine the Great, 1729-1796,
Empress of Russia and Mistress of Jever

The focus at the court of Oldenburg is the carillon. We were made aware of this by its sounds.

In the mornings at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., in the afternoons at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., the five historical figures provide the viewer with their reference. Popular melodies underline the impressive performance.

Close to the castle is the farm of Oldenburg. Here are delicious cakes. On the side of the house is a beautiful carillon, which often plays on the hour. There are also figures from the clock. The way to the old town is not far either.
