Hiking
Tocho-ji is a temple of Shingon Buddhism. It is one of the main attractions in the old town of Hakata and must not be missed! The most famous sights here are: The Great Wooden Buddha, a walk through heaven and hell and the most obvious, the huge, red five-story pagoda. If you come during the sakura season, you will be greeted by a huge cherry tree with thousands of delicate pink flowers.
