Hiking

The 820-meter-high mountain „Hohe Warte” lies directly on the Albsteig. At the highest point of the Hohe Warte, there is a 23-meter-high observation tower. The tower was built and inaugurated in 1923, after a high stand and then an observation scaffold had previously been at the site. The tower was erected in honor of the fallen of the First World War.

Hiking

A wooden high stand was erected on the Hohe Warte in 1896, which came in as early as 1904 and was replaced by a new observation scaffold. This scaffolding had already fallen into disrepair in 1911. The current brick tower was built with great victims in 1923 would be the period of inflation together with the memorial for the fallen members of the Swabian Alb Society. There is a commemoration every second Sunday in October. The tower is open on Sundays and public holidays.
