Hiking

In contrast to the other water-powered mills on Mühlenweg, the Rainbauernmühle has an undershot water wheel, i. H. the water is directed from the Acher through a channel from "below" onto the paddle blades of the wheel, thereby setting it in motion. The Rainbauernmühle is a popular photo motif in the Mühlendorf Ottenhöfen and has been produced by numerous publications in newspapers, magazines, radio and television known.

Hiking

One of the historic mills on the way. The stories and technique of the mills is described. Many thanks to the Black Forest Association, who cultivates the cultural history of the area.
