Cycling

Cycling, as well as mountain biking or cycling with gravel bikes, does not make sense here ...

The entire terrain is destroyed and also the natural starting point of the toboggan run.

In the bohnewald there are only 2 designated bike paths ... the rest is TABOO for 2 wheels

Unless the municipality of Soltau puts up signs

Cycling

In the beautiful urban Böhmewald, large earthworks were carried out by prisoners of war during the First World War. These works made it possible to renovate the existing small toboggan run on the steep edge of the Böhmetal and to build a second toboggan run.

On a newly created hill, a common starting point was established, from which both runs led down with a length of approx. 30 m. Today, it is still possible to see where the soil was taken for the starting hill. The impressive dimension of the manual labor performed at the time is still palpable today.

Mountain biking

In the middle of the woods. Great for tobogganing in winter. Access by bike is tricky in some places. If it gets wet there, it quickly becomes slippery.
