This road is perfect for racing cyclists. It doesn't matter whether it's uphill or downhill. You first drive past centuries-old half-timbered houses in the extremely idyllic village of Strümpfelbach and then screw your way up meter by meter until you are rewarded with an impressive view of the surrounding vineyards. After almost 200 meters of altitude you will reach Aichwald (Schurwald).
