Nice possibility to visit the Gasthaus Router, which is highly recommended, which also includes the ferry.
Unfortunately, the wire rope of the ferry broke during our visit and was only out of service that day 😖
But a visit without crossings is definitely worth it.
Note the opening hours under the following link, otherwise the ferry will not run:
