Hiking

With the black alder swamp forest "Seelaub", a communal natural forest reserve of the type "Au and Bruckwälder" was designated for the first time in Upper Franconia. On a tour of the approximately 13 hectare area you will discover z. B. a ford or the sand pit atypical for this habitat on the edge of the alder wet forest. The flora and fauna can be observed from the jetty.

Hiking

The wet forest reserve created as part of the Oberhaid rural development is a valuable biotope project for partially endangered and protected native flora and fauna. People have not intervened in the area since 2005.
