Since you walk very close to the edge of the quarry, there is a risk of falling.
Was just curious and wanted to catch a glimpse of the break.
Especially since the actual hiking trail (narrow path) to the left of the forest is not signposted at all and is hardly noticeable when grasses are overgrown, although one quickly thinks that the hiking trail leads along the quarry! The Harz Hiking Association should rework here quickly!
