In view of the small sacred monument standing here, a crucifix – not just the two crossbeams, but the depiction of the crucified Christ – I would like to offer the viewer two short sentences by Pope Leo XIV for spiritual reflection: “He who gives his life for us lives with us and illuminates our night with salvation. There is no darkness that this star does not light up, for in its light all humanity sees the dawn of a new and eternal reality.”
