Melkhüser (milk farms) can be found along cycling and/or hiking trails in northern and western Lower Saxony. These small "energy sources" are also present in Schleswig-Holstein. They primarily offer all kinds of dairy products and regional specialties. Produced by the local farmers' wives, they offer delicious food and drinks. Try it out!

A visit to a Melkhus is always a good tip for hikers and cyclists. I like it very much here. Whether as a stop during a bike ride or as a starting point for a hike. Here begins, for example, a northern paths hike.
