Coming from Lengroid, the route towards Irrsee from the Wildenegg ruin is no longer suitable for riding with an MTB due to steps. Currently, the path is also made more difficult by a fallen tree (the bike has to be lifted over it - as of June 2026).

Here you have two options for small detours. On the one hand, a trail branches off here to the ruins of Wildenegg Castle, which was built in the 12th century. Unfortunately, there are really only a few small foundations left. Nevertheless, this place offers a very nice atmosphere due to its past. To get to the ruins you have to climb a few steps. At the top there is also the possibility to take a break.
Alternatively, it is also worth rolling to the west bank of the Irrsee, which also offers a wonderful backdrop for a short break.
