The tank tower is an unusual and exciting relic from the Cold War era. It is one of the rare defensive structures that were once part of the so-called "defense belt". The tower offers interesting insights into the history of the region and is particularly worth seeing for those interested in technology and the military. Although you can usually only view it from the outside, just looking at it gives you an idea of its function and construction. Anyone interested in history should definitely include this place in their tour!

Ehem. Bombing range of the German Air Force northwest of Markt Nordheim. Definitely worth a visit 👍
