The Neisse Bridge is actually called the double bridge, connecting the western (German) and eastern (Polish) parts of the Fürst-Pückler-Park. Until 2007, visitors to the park still had to show their ID if they wanted to cross the German-Polish border, which is marked by the Neisse River. In 1945 German soldiers blew up the bridge, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 21st century and opened to visitors in 2004. polish-online.com/fotos/fuerst-pueckler-park-bad-muskau/doppelbruecke.php#Foto-Polen

Two successive historical pedestrian bridges over the Lusatian Neisse in the Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau are called double bridges. In 2003 the double bridge, which was destroyed in the war, was rebuilt. The two parts of the bridge meet on a small Neisse island, at the southern end of which there is a hydroelectric power station.
