Mountain biking

A very old sandstone quarry. Here rock was mined which was even processed at the Cologne Cathedral.

Hiking

Sandstone is still mined in the Kammerbruch today. It is a designated geotope. The geotope is the only outcrop with a safe boundary between the Upper Keuper and the Lower Jura in Thuringia.
