In 2000 a rider crossed her bridge over the Rhine with her horse. The transition at that time consisted of wooden planks that turned rotten over the years. The horse crashed through the bridge wood path and the bridge remained closed until the renovation and today's newly laid underground.
For the animal friends .. the horse fell into the Rhine and swam unscathed to the shore 😉
