The Seezentrum Heuberg is located on the Rothsee main barrier. Here you will find everything from the inn Rothsee with large terraces and the kiosk, the changing rooms, the sailing school, the boat harbor with water and land moorings, bike and pedal boat rental and much more. 650 parking spaces and bus park as a starting point for the activities on the lake.

About 25 km south of Nuremberg, in the green middle between Roth, Hilpoltstein and Allersberg, lies the Rothsee. Here you can relax all year round. Bathing friends are welcome guests in the spacious bathing areas of the 210-hectare water area. Sailors and surfers find on the Rothsee main barrier an ideal area.

Planning and completion took about 20 years. The Vorsperre was built between 1985 and 1990, the main barrier between 1985 and 1992. Completion and flooding of the main barrier took place in October 1993. [1] Residents of Hasenbruck and Fischhof had to be relocated for the construction. (Wikipedia)
