Hiking

The Tower of Hercules is the oldest Roman lighthouse in the world and the only one still in use. Built in all probability in the second half of the 1st century by an architect from Coimbra named Gaio Sevio Lupo, its light has always been a point of reference for sailors.
The current exterior covering is from the 18th century, the work of Eustaquio Giannini.
