Designed by Henry van de Velde in 1903, Villa Esche is a significant European architectural monument and an outstanding example of his design concept, which combines architecture, interior design, and garden design. Today, it houses Germany's first Henry van de Velde Museum, offering insights into the designer's Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art) with original, preserved exhibits, and also serves as a renowned cultural and event venue.

Architectural gem of Henry van de Velde. Great restaurant in the coach house. Excellent care in the museum and in the restaurant.
