Hiking
The wayside shrine was erected in 1996 by a citizen of Vettelschoss for the quiet retreat of hikers and cyclists. In 2000 an approximately 3m high basalt column with the inscription "ALPHA - Jesus Christ yesterday forever today - OMEGA - My time in your hands - Anno Domini 2000" was placed directly adjacent. From here you have a beautiful view of the old Vettelschoß with the St.Michael church.
