Road cycling
Ocean Beach Promenade is a walking trail that can also be biked to enjoy great views of beach life, though most road bikers zip by on the marked shoulder of the road. At the south end of the beach it is best to cross the Great Highway (Hwy 1) and continue south on the paved bike-trail on top of the divider dune protecting the houses from the ocean.
