The Plaisance refuge is located in the middle of the mountain pastures, in an idyllic setting that allows you to enjoy all the beauty of the Vanoise.
It has 32 beds and you also have the possibility of pitching a tent around the refuge (provided you book). You can also eat there and have a refreshment.

The Plaisance refuge is located in an exceptional classified natural environment, on the edge of the heart area of the Parc National de la Vanoise. In the Vallaisonnay valley, multiple species can be observed from the terrace: marmots, mountain goats, chamois, eagles, vultures, tarines, gentians, forget-me-nots, rhododendrons

You hike steeply up past a beautiful waterfall and with a beautiful view over at least 5 glaciers. Many different flowering plant species and don't forget to order the delicious omelet at the refuge.
