The Kulturpalast Chemnitz in the district of Rabenstein, opened in 1951, served as an event palace for the general public for a short time. As early as 1967, this era was over and the unused building was later rededicated as a television studio.
Since this use ended in 1999, the impressive building is empty.

In 1951, this monumental building was opened, built on the Soviet model.
But already in 1967 the Palace of Culture was closed again and later used as a television studio.
Then the building was empty for almost 20 years, but now (2019) something should finally happen again. One can only hope ...
