Mountain biking

The old town of Lübeck is always a worthwhile destination - no matter how you travel. Coming from the south, you can navigate the old town island from here. For intensive exploration, I would leave the MTB but sometimes. On the other hand, you can go around the island by bike on the banks of the surrounding rivers. Mostly on gravel roads are driving technically while no major highlights to expect, but there are many beautiful views of the city center.

You can't escape Lübeck. Even those who have never visited the city on the Trave know at least some of its landmarks: the world-famous marzipan or the famous city silhouette with the seven towers that greets you from the jam jar for breakfast. Or the Holsten Gate, which is emblazoned on many German two-euro coins. In 1987 the UNESCO declared the unique Lübeck old town ensemble with its 1,800 listed buildings, the winding alleyways and historical alleys to be a world cultural heritage.
