    Hiking

The Arch of Constantine is the largest of the three surviving triumphal arches in Rome (about 25 meters high), it was erected in 315 to commemorate Constantine's victory against Maxentius at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312.

Erected on the ancient path generally traveled by triumphs, in the section between the Circus Maximus and the Arch of Titus, it was built by partially reusing sculptures and architectural elements removed from older monuments, belonging to the eras of Trajan, Hadrian and Marcus Aurelius.
