The Eulenbach Bridge, also known as the Sau Bridge, is a former natural stone railway bridge from 1914. Today the 40 meter high and 170 meter long bridge serves as a section of the Niederbergbahn panoramic cycle path and offers beautiful views.

Cycling

After approval in May 1912, construction began on July 23, 1913. Several bridges had to be built, and from May 1914 the largest of the bridges was built, namely the Eulenbach Bridge planned by the Elberfeld Railway Directorate. After the outbreak of the First World War, the construction work initially stopped, but could be completed by summer 1915 with the help of unemployed factory workers and Russian prisoners of war.
