Hiking

The cockpit of the DHL machine opened here at the Taisersdorf district of Owingen. The memorial is located on the K 7788 from Owingen towards Taisersdorf behind the Happenmühle farm, on the right of the street in an area covered with trees. A memorial stone with a plaque and another ball from the torn pearl necklace mark the place and remind of the two pilots of the DHL cargo plane.

Cycling

It lies inconspicuously on the edge of the forest, 50 meters from the road. A small memorial plaque and a large steel ball - that's it. I had expected something more spectacular based on what happened (planes don't often collide in flight).
