Info:
It dates back to a medieval monastery church. In 1268, Margrave Heinrich der Erlauchte donated his country estate to a Clarissan convent. The monastery was dissolved in 1542. In 1724, the well-known Dresden master carpenter George Bähr was commissioned by the then owner to build the castle. The construction of the baroque castle church was carried out on the existing Gothic foundations of the monastery church from 1268.
