Gate tower located in the northeast of the city walls, first mentioned in 1337. Today it houses the Wassertor Museum with dungeons and a tower keeper's apartment.

The first floor was a prison. The only access to it was an opening in the ceiling through which the prisoner was "unwound" on a rope. A crucifixion group is set amidst wall paintings and doodles added by prisoners, with dates from the 16th / 17th century.
