Hiking

The town hall in Brilon am Markt is one of the oldest town halls in Germany. It was built as a guild house in the 13th century. In the time of the Hanseatic League, local craftsmen and shopkeepers as well as foreign merchants offered their goods. At 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. the carillon at the town hall shows scenes from the Brilon Schnadegang (border inspection).

The town hall is an impressive building and the market square in front of it is just beautiful.
