Nordic walking

On the southwestern edge of the municipality of Ottenbach there is the longest historical string weir in the canton of Zurich, at 200 meters: a wuhr lying parallel to the course of the river, over which the water "strokes" and is derived for energy generation. The string weir belongs to the small power plant of the former silk weaving mill A. F. Haas & Co, which is now used as a museum facility.
