Many commemorative plaques commemorate the numerous victims in the mountains. Numerous German mountaineers have also lost their lives in the Tatras.

Hiking
Here you can see the tombstones. Many are soldiers. There is a small "church" in the park as well. The place is quite small but very interesting. Easy to recommend. In 5 minutes you are there from the Horski Hotel.

Hiking
The Symbolický cintorín (German symbolic cemetery, 1525 m) is a very touristy memorial near Lake Popradské pleso under the western slopes of Mount Osterva, where there is a symbolic cemetery in the pine forest to honor those who live in the high Tatra and, exceptionally, the people of the High Tatras who lost their lives in the high mountain world.
