Hiking
Beautiful riverside path on the edge of Karlsaue with lots of greenery and recurring open views of the Fulda. Ideal for a quiet passage when hiking or cycling and one of the most beautiful ways to experience Kassel directly on the water.

Hiking
If the weather is good, a hike with two places for waterfowl observation. The path is varied and easy to manage. We have heard countless birds, but given the foliage of the trees only a few caught our lenses. Because we know about it, that doesn't diminish the overall experience. In some areas the route was already very populated because Sunday, between Fulda and Lake Buga that was rather limited. Unfortunately there were only a few wildflowers and therefore hardly any butterflies. All in all, the tour was worth it.
