The water tower was built in the Art Nouveau style between 1909 and 1911. After World War II, he received the patina-covered copper helmet that was visible from afar. Originally the water tower was used to equalize pressure, among other things in the Bardenberger water network. The tower had to carry the weight of 500,000 liters of water = 500 t.
