The Körnebach is a 12.9-kilometer-long stream in North Rhine-Westphalia that rises in Alt-Scharnhorst, Dortmund, and flows into the Seseke near Kamen. Historically, it served as a sewage stream, but was renaturalized in 1998 as part of the Seseke project. Since 2006, the Körnebach has flowed as a pure water stream, which has had a positive impact on the development of the local flora and fauna. Today, the stream offers numerous recreational opportunities for walkers and cyclists along its course.
