The village of Clermont is located in the south-eastern part of the Pays de Herve. The Chaussée Charlemagne (national road 3) passes a few hectometers from the center of the town. The neighboring villages are Thimister, Froidthier and Henri-Chapelle (municipality of Welkenraedt).
