Hiking

A few kilometers east of Kulmbach between Kauernburg and Kauerndorf, the Hans-Edelmann-Steg bridges the white Main and connects the Obermaintal cycle path with the lower Buchgasse. In the direction of flow on the left bank of the river, the foundations of the book house can be found a little above at the edge of the forest, a forest tavern that has been abandoned and demolished for decades.
