In the beech trunk that had been stripped and blackened by Wolfgang Folmer, youth groups cut motifs according to their own ideas. The artist then worked on the spaces in between. "We encounter familiar things from our everyday world. The flood of images that constantly reaches us through the media and consumer world leaves traces that can be found on the trunk via detours."
